How Log-it works:

    Download the app to your Apple or Android phone or tablet.
  • 2

    Add a new issue and fill in the details of the issue including the location and photos (optional).

  • 3

    Check on an existing issue at any time by logging in to see its progress.

Once you report your issue in the app, it will automatically go in the queue to get resolved! The app is provided by Australia’s Retirement Living Maintenance Specialists MDFM.

MDFM log-it is a mobile app designed to make it easier for Retirement Village residents to report issues or hazards in and around their homes. With a little help from the residents, their village will be a safer, cleaner and better place to be.

MDFM log-it is available on iOS devices through the App store, and on android devices through Google Play. The app is free to download and use.

What if I don’t have a smart device?2024-01-27T08:50:30+00:00

No problem. Anyone can complete a website form that can be accessed here. Alternatively, you are welcome to call the MDFM Sydney office during normal business hours (AEST) and log a request over the phone. Our office number is (02) 9742 5001.

You can use MDFM log-it to report any maintenance issues or requests relating to your unit or another part of the village. You may notice a hazard, breakdown, damage or fault. If you see something that isn’t right, we want to know about it. Your village will either engage us or their own maintenance team to resolve the issue.

Your issue will be viewed by the MDFM team within 2 business days. What happens next will depend on your particular issue. We may be able to contact you and get it resolved immediately, or it may need to be escalated to your village manager or operator. Whatever happens, we will communicate with you through the ‘existing issues’ listing in the app, or via the contact details that you have provided.

We will communicate with you via the contact details that you have provided. You can also view the status on the ‘existing issues’ listing in the app and see if your issue is open, in progress, resolved or closed.

Will other residents be able to see my issue?2024-01-27T08:34:40+00:00

No. Each resident or user will only be able to view the issues that have been logged on their device. Similarly, you will not be able to view anyone else’s issues.
